amor vincit omnia
love conquers all.
so how much do you sacrifice to help another? how much of yourself do you give our pour out for the benefit of somebody else?
we are called to serve god and to serve others, but where do you draw the line between lifting someone up and pushing your own self down.. is the second part even necessary to successfully complete the first?
REMINDER TO SELF: you are fulfilling gods call to serve others when and only when you are glorifying him through your servitude. god must remain the center of all things, then others, then yourself.
i want to know some good bible verses to help me out with this topic, where do i draw the line? i have a habit of living for others so much so that i no longer am living for myself, and, i dont think thats what we're called to do, i mean, maybe it is, but it sure hurts like hell.
