You're my sweet charade

just because i want ot hang out with somebody does NOT mean i like them.

"lets hang out"
and
"i like you"
are NOT synonomus.
or, whatever it is.

i want to have a good time, i want to meet people, put myself out there with them, spend time with somebody enthusiastic and spontaneous, somebody i can have deep discussions with and not have them think any less of me. i dont want to have just one person that im really close too- i want to have many people that im close with.

thats whati decided.

and i dont even know why we choose the word "like", you know? i mean, hey, in reality, i like everybody! does that mean i want to go out with or date everybody? no. it doesnt.

i want to get to know people, spend more time with people because i thought to myself "hey this person seems really interesting, i want to understand them more" not because i want ot see if theyre boyfriend material.

please understand this. i dont want to get into any messy situations caused by he said he said matters or lack of understanding on both ends. you know?

if i say we should hang out with that person, or ask questions about somebody its because i wonder about them, i wonder what theyre like, i dont know them well and i think theres a lot more to than than i know, but thats pretty much it. i think we would have fun hanging out with that person. not because i want to go out with them.

the fact tha tim single doesnt play a role in deciding who i want to hang out with, honestly.

ok, well, im going to go to libbys grandmothers house (pattys) and watch movies with her (libby, not patty) and hopefuly chow down on some ramen noodles.

and im putting my angel in heaven post with the poetry into the chameleon school lit magazine. hope it gets accepted!
