satisfaction gaurenteed
because i'm thinking
about a brand new hope
the one i've never known
cuz now i know
it's all that i wanted.
green day. [smile] that songs actually called "macy's day parade"... wierd huh? strange how the title doesnt really match the lyrics. as they say.. never judge a book by its cover. in this case, never judge a song by it's titel. ok, so, thats you lesson for the day.
ya know whats probably one of the most aggravating things in the entire world? when i click my space bar, it squeaks. yup. so every time i go to write a sentance, its like "SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAAAAKKKK!" yup.. thats definetaly one of the most aggravating things in the entire world. theres others, but i dont feel like explaining them.
ok, so i am reading a wicked wicked great book righ tnow. i mean, i love how its written. the main cahracter is so like.. i don't know.. "frank" with his sentances, but he said something the other day when i was reading that was actually pretty interesting. now, if i could only find the page and the paragraph, then i'll share it with you!
ok i found it:
"In the bus on the way to school next morning we passed 4 red cars in a row, which meant that it was a good day.
Mr.Jeavons, the psychologist at the school, once asked me why 4 red cars in a row made it a good day, and 3 red cars in a row made it a quite good day, and 5 red cars in a row made it a super good day, and why 4 yellow cars in a row made it a black day, which is a day when i don't speak to anyone and sit on my own reading books and don't eat my lunch and take no risks. He said that i was clearly a very logical person, so he was suprised that i should think like this because it wasn't very logical.
.....
I said that i wasn't clever. I was just noticing how things were, and that wasn't clever. That was just being observant. Being clever was when you look at how things were and used the evidence to work out something new. Like the universe expanding, or who commited murder. Or if you see someones name and you give each letter a value from 1-26 (a=1, b=2, c=3...) and you add the numberes up in your head and you find out that it makes a prime number, like Jesus Christ (151), or Scooby-Doo (113) or Sherlock Holmes (163), or Doctor Watson (167).
Mr.Jeavons asked me wether this made me feel safe, having things in a nice order, and i said it did.
Then he asked if i didn't like things changing. And i said i wouldn't mind thing's changing if I became an astronaut, for example, which is one of the biggest changes you can imagine, aside from being a girl, or dying."
>>BOOK: the curious incident of the dog in the night-time.
>>AUTHOR: mark haddon.
notice there no capitals in the title= thats for a reason- there just isn't.
ok, some backround information, the kid is 15. yup. and thats how he thinks. he has like.. some disorder or something and i pretty sure its dislexia. thats my assumption anyway. i'm assuming this because of the back of the book. it says "Christopher John Francis Boone knows all the countries of the world and their capitals and every prime number up to 7,057. He relates well with animals because he has no understanding of human emotions. He cannot stand to be touched. And he detests the color yellow."
anyway, its just a nice book. its really interesting how he says like.. short sentances, or really lok ones. i dono. im analyzing too much, i know i know.
i just have nothing to do and i really wan tot go shopping. like wicked wicked bad. theres a store i wanan go to and my mom said she'll take me but for sooome reason we havent gone yet. and i asked her at like.. 9 this morning. ITS 3:49 FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
ok , so, i went to rockport and hung out with some of the coolest people around. me, demitra, adn erica went to kris', andrew and chandlers house which was really fun. we watched some movie. i forget what its called. something thats like "wild.. something.. hearts.. something.. fly" i dont know. thats probably not even right at all. it was good though. i enjoyed it. other than the fact that like... i was too busying thinking about stuff that i didnt know what was going on. oh well. it was about a girl who ran away and joined some like.. traveling horse thing.. like.. horse show or something. and it was about how she really wanted to be a horse diver. which is probably the most random sport i have ever heard of in my life. where she has to jump onto a horse, and then the horse runs off this plank thing thats like.. WICKED FAR off the ground and jumps into a big thing of water. i dont know. yeah , i thought it was wierd too, but i guess that was "the thing to do" inthe 1930's (which by the way is when the story takes place). yeah but she ends up falling love with a guy thats like.. 10 years older than her (shes about 12 or 13) lol. and then the day they get engaged she goes blind. but then after being shunned by like.. everyone she is able to continue on with the career and goes on doing that for like.. 11 years or so. it was pretty cool. based on a true story too. yup yup. and ohyeah we played pool. i love pool. im bad, but i still think its a wicked lot of fun. i LOVE it. i wish i had a pool table. they have one. i wonder if i could like.. go and stael next tiem i go over. yeah.. thast the plan. WHO's WITH ME? hhaha. you know i wouldnt do that guys, goodness.
yeah so i was just telling someone the other day how my mom pronounces the word "gracias" (spanish for thank you) as "grassy ass" hahahah. how wierd? gosh mom.. what an embarassment.
blahblahblah i dont reall yknow what else to say cept hmm.. well i dont know.
yeah, so i've basically been melting. no its not because its been so warm out lately but its because.. well. ya ever have someone say something to you that just like.. its soooo sweet or sooo unexpected and like.. everything you you just.. you have to be like "wow that was probably one of the most flattering, sweetest, everything, i have ever heard in my entire life"? well.. yeah, thats melting. it's what you do when you hear it. so, yeah, i melted. [huge smile]
so, i have to go cuz i want to talk to people online and this is keeping me from that. yep. so. here i go!
WITH THE LOVE FOR MELTING, GREEN DAY, VACATION, AND EVERYTHING ELSE,
